Tennessee Titans owner Bud Adams wants more of Vince Young. He's getting just that with his winless team switching from veteran Kerry Collins back to the 2006 Offensive Rookie of the Year. Coach Jeff Fisher announced the expected move Thursday following practice for the 0-6 Titans, and Young got the news from his coach in the morning.

The Golden State Warriors suspended Stephen Jackson for two exhibition games Saturday after the unhappy captain left the bench during an exhibition contest in Los Angeles. The veteran swingman picked up five fouls and a technical in less than 10 minutes Friday night while playing against the Lakers at the Forum.

Grizzlies, Iverson close in on deal (AP)
The owner of the Memphis Grizzlies and the team's staff are meeting with Allen Iverson as the sides move closer to a deal bringing the veteran guard to a very young team. Iverson said on Twitter on Sunday night he was meeting with the owner and staff Monday and that he wanted to help the Grizzlies develop a winner.

Broncos sign ex-Dolphins DL Holliday (AP)
The Denver Broncos signed veteran defensive lineman Vonnie Holliday Saturday, the same day the team trimmmed its roster by releasing 12 players. The 6-foot-5, 285-pound Holliday had 3 1/2 sacks last season for the Miami Dolphins. Defensive lineman Tim Crowder was among the players cut Saturday by new Broncos coach Josh McDaniels.

Super Bowl hero Tyree released by Giants (AP)
David Tyree has gone from Super Bowl hero to out of a job. Tyree was released by the New York Giants on Saturday in the final cutdown that also featured a late trade with backup tight end Michael Matthews, another Super Bowl veteran, being shipped to the New England Patriots for a conditional draft pick.
