The owner of the Tennessee Titans wants to see more of Vince Young.     Tennessee Titans owner Bud Adams wants more of Vince Young. He's getting just that with his winless team switching from veteran Kerry Collins back to the 2006 Offensive Rookie of the Year. Coach Jeff Fisher announced the expected move Thursday following practice for the 0-6 Titans, and Young got the news from his coach in the morning.

Coach Jim Caldwell said Wednesday, Oct. 21. 2009, the team hopes he can play against the Rams but the decision will be made later this week.

The 2007 NFL defensive player of the year, who has not played in a game since January, is expected to participate in most of the team's practice work this week.     All signs are pointing toward Matt Hasselbeck returning to quarterback the reeling Seahawks on Sunday against Jacksonville. The three-time Pro Bowl passer looked sharp while completing a second consecutive practice Thursday. It's his first work since he broke a rib Sept. 20 on a dive for the goal line at San Francisco.

The New York Jets have reached an agreement with the Cleveland Browns to acquire troubled but talented wide receiver Braylon Edwards(notes). The Jets sent wide receiver Chansi Stuckey(notes), linebacker Jason Trusnik and undisclosed draft choices to the Browns on Wednesday, Oct. 7, 2009, to acquire the deep threat they had been lacking.

    Braylon Edwards' arrival was picture-perfect for the New York Jets. The talented but troubled wide receiver was acquired from Cleveland on Wednesday and showed up at the team's facility shortly after practice ended — just in time to try on his new green and white threads and be included in the team picture.

    Tom Brady zipped passes from 10 yards, lofted softer ones from 25 and showed no sign that his shoulder hurt. It certainly was much better at Tuesday's practice than it was four days earlier when 350-pound Albert Haynesworth of the Washington Redskins landed on him, forcing his throwing shoulder into the ground on an incomplete pass.
